Never have freezing floors again!
Conquer the Cold!
What are my options?
Gamma Hydronics offers two viable solutions for heating floors: Radiant Sidetrack and ThermalBoard™. Both options are stronger in certain aspects. We invite you to read below to discover which option is best for your heating needs.
ThermalBoard™
Perfect for both new construction and retrofitting, Thermalboard™ allows for the quick and efficient installation of PE RT (Polyethylene Raised
Temperature) tubing. Designed especially for sub-floor application, Thermalboard™ is inexpensive when compared to the usual lightweight
concrete-pour method of embedding radiant tubing, and much easier to handle. As a result, Thermalboard™ and PE RT tubing make for an easy solution for
sub-floor radiant heat. Thermalboard™ is constructed of dense composite board covered with a thin sheet of aluminum. The heat from the hydronic
tubing is quickly and uniformly transferred to the surrounding aluminum. Thermalboard™ can be quickly heated and is easy to control with the
proper weather responsive control. Having a weather responsive control is vital to adjusting hydronic outputs in order to be energy efficient. The
thermal mass of Thermalboard™ is enough to be effective, but not so much as to be difficult to control. Thermalboard™ is the leading application
of subfloor heating due to its great combination of ease of installation, performance, and cost effectiveness.

Radiant Side Track™
Radiant Side Track™ is a series of aluminum plates housing
PE RT tubing installed on the ceiling in the joist bays directly below the floor above.
Radiant Side Track™ works by absorbing heat from the hydronic tubing it surrounds, and then radiating that heat to the floor above it. Since it is
installed not in the sub-floor, but actually under the floor completely, it can be installed after you finish your floors. This fact makes Radiant Side
Track™ versatile and easy to install. It's perfect for adding radiant flooring to your home after you have completed construction.
Radiant Side Track™ comes in both 3/8" and ½" ASTM Sizes!
